I have setup a library containing some of the photos I (and friends) have taken over the years. They are primarily based around trips or events, and are grouped together by the actual event. Photos can be found by location, event, or even keyword search.
Software
I have used piwigo for the photo album. This is available from the piwigo website, and is free to use when you host, or you can have them host on your behalf.
